Secure Choice Lending, a California corporation ("SCL," "we," "us," or "our"), respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information across our mortgage services, website, CRM systems, marketing platforms, AI tools, referral partner tools, and promotional campaigns. "Platform" means SCL’s technology services covered by this Policy, including its CRM, partner tools, AI tools, and marketing tools, regardless of product name or branding. A name or branding change does not expand an existing permission, authorization, or communication consent.
This Policy describes our information practices. It does not replace a financial privacy notice, loan disclosure, communication consent, affiliated business arrangement disclosure, or other notice or authorization required by law. Certain lending information is governed by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act, Regulation P, the California Financial Information Privacy Act, or other financial privacy laws. We provide additional notices and choices where required. Acceptance of this Policy does not, by itself, constitute marketing consent or authorize unrestricted disclosure of borrower information or retrieval of third-party content.
This policy applies to:
We collect information to provide mortgage services and operate the Platform, including authorized documents and communications. AI features may process information through SCL systems and applicable service providers. We do not sell personal information for monetary compensation, but some advertising disclosures may qualify as sale or sharing under applicable law. This Policy explains the applicable privacy choices and how to exercise them. Acceptance of this Policy is separate from marketing consent and other required authorizations.
Personal information you provide is used to:
We do not authorize service providers or contractors acting on our behalf to use your personal information for their independent marketing. Advertising and analytics disclosures, lending transactions, referral partner access, and introductions to related service providers are addressed separately in this Policy’s disclosures about sharing and disclosure of information.
Our websites and Platform accounts are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through these services. Adult-submitted lending documents may contain information about dependents, including children; that information is processed for authorized transaction purposes, security, and applicable legal requirements. If you believe a child has submitted information directly through our services, contact SCL using the contact information in this Policy.
Name, email address, phone number, mailing address, IP address, device identifiers.
Income, assets, employment data, credit information, liabilities, loan details, and property information; authorized uploaded documents such as bank statements, tax returns, income and employment records, credit reports, loan applications, settlement and closing documents, and supporting materials; and information extracted or derived from those documents.
Products or services considered, transaction history, loan activity.
Website interactions, cookies, analytics data, CRM engagement (opens, clicks, responses), communication history (emails, messages), campaign activity, workflow data, and interaction records generated through SCL systems.
Real estate agent or broker information, business contact details.
Preferences, opt-ins, engagement history.
Government identification, Social Security numbers, financial account information, and other sensitive information contained in authorized applications or uploaded documents, collected only as necessary for permitted lending or platform purposes and applicable legal requirements.
Content submitted to AI or automated tools, including authorized files and instructions; generated text, images, summaries, classifications, calculations, and other outputs; and related technical or activity records. Depending on the feature, these records may include document references, user edits, approvals, workflow activity, and consent or authorization records.
We collect information from the source categories described in this Policy. Additional sources may include public records and business or property information, licensed data providers, authorized integrations, and content sources that a user directs us to access, where collection and use are permitted by applicable law, licenses, source agreements, and access restrictions. Authorized communication features may process messages and related information from correspondents who do not have Platform accounts. Information may also be generated through document extraction, AI tools, and platform workflows. Public availability alone does not establish permission to copy, retrieve, or reuse content.
We use personal information for the following business purposes. Depending on the permitted feature, these purposes may also include classifying, extracting, organizing, and reviewing authorized documents; supporting income, asset, credit, property, loan-scenario, and document-quality analysis; creating and delivering authorized property and marketing materials; and recording consent, approvals, opt-outs, permissions, and platform activity.
Secure Choice Lending uses artificial intelligence, machine learning, and automated systems to assist with customer communications and marketing outreach. This includes:
You may receive communications generated or delivered in whole or in part by AI without a person reviewing each individual message, where the applicable feature or workflow permits that automation. When an authorized user connects an inbox or enables a communication feature, the Platform may process incoming messages, attachments, contact information, and related metadata to organize or summarize communications, prepare drafts, or perform the specific actions authorized by that user. Messages may originate from people without Platform accounts.
Features and enabled actions vary. Permission to prepare a draft does not itself authorize sending, publication, additional recipients, or a new use of information. Processing remains subject to required permissions and notices, applicable provider restrictions, approved workflow settings, and the review and approval requirements in our Terms and AI & Platform Use Acknowledgment. Acceptance of this Policy is not, by itself, consent to marketing calls or text messages.
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time.
SCL may use AI and automated systems to assist with certain lending-related functions, including:
These tools assist human decision-makers. Qualified SCL personnel remain responsible for reviewing and verifying the information used in SCL’s final lending decisions and applying applicable underwriting requirements. Final SCL lending decisions are not made solely by automated systems. An AI calculation, document summary, credit analysis, signature check, or risk flag does not establish that a document is complete, authentic, or acceptable or that a loan requirement has been satisfied.
If automated processing materially contributed to a lending-related adverse outcome affecting you, including preliminary screening or a final decision, you may request:
To make a request, contact us at info@securechoicelending.com or 951-733-8925. We respond within applicable legal deadlines and provide required notices and information about automated processing through the relevant application or feature. The applicable review, correction, notice, and explanation requirements depend on the information, decision, and law involved.
Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), or any applicable state law. Requests for review supplement, and do not replace, required adverse-action notices, reasons, disclosures, correction or dispute rights, and applicable deadlines.
Depending on the feature, AI processing may involve user instructions, authorized uploaded files, extracted information, and generated outputs. Where a feature uses an external AI or automation provider, information needed for that feature may be transmitted to the provider. Provider access, processing, retention, and deletion depend on the feature, applicable agreements, and configured services.
Users should submit sensitive or confidential information only through features approved for that information and only when authorized to do so. Acceptance of this Policy does not authorize unrelated use of borrower or client information or replace any separate permission required for a new use.
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:
When a recipient acts as our service provider or contractor, its processing is subject to applicable law and our agreement with that recipient. Such recipients are restricted to permitted purposes of the relationship. We share only the personal information needed for the relevant service or permitted purpose. This Policy addresses advertising and analytics arrangements separately because a recipient’s legal role may differ from that of a service provider.
We may disclose limited information to advertising and analytics platforms, such as Google, Meta, and LinkedIn, for marketing, audience targeting, campaign measurement, or website engagement analysis. Depending on the arrangement and applicable law, a disclosure may constitute a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information even when we receive no monetary compensation. Applicable privacy choices and the methods for exercising them are described in this Privacy Policy. Advertising-related privacy choices are distinct from unsubscribing from marketing email or withdrawing SMS consent.
Investors, lenders, underwriters, and fulfillment partners necessary to complete your loan.
Real estate agents may have access to limited information about their own clients or transactions that they are authorized to assist with, such as loan-status updates and transaction coordination information, where permitted by applicable law and the relevant authorization. Access is provided for legitimate transaction purposes and not in exchange for referrals. They do not have access to unrelated consumer data.
A referral relationship does not itself authorize unrestricted access to bank statements, tax returns, credit reports, or other sensitive borrower information; additional access or disclosure requires an appropriate legal basis and platform permission.
Government agencies, regulators, or legal authorities as required.
We do not sell personal information for monetary compensation.
As part of providing our services, Secure Choice Lending may share certain personal information with third-party service providers to assist with services related to your transaction or to provide additional resources that may be relevant to you.
These services may include, but are not limited to, insurance, title, escrow, or other related services.
Such referrals or introductions are provided for your convenience only. You are under no obligation to use any recommended service provider and are free to select any provider of your choice.
In some cases, Secure Choice Lending may refer you to service providers that are affiliated with, owned by, or under common control with SCL. Where required by law, we provide the applicable affiliated business arrangement disclosure, financial privacy choices, and any required consumer authorization at the applicable time. This Policy does not replace those transaction-specific requirements. An introduction does not, by itself, authorize a provider to use borrower information for unrelated marketing.
Secure Choice Lending does not require the use of any specific service provider as a condition of obtaining a loan or any other service.
SCL provides tools and systems to referral partners. These systems:
We provide technology and educational resources at no charge to help consumers understand homeownership and support the professionals who assist them. These resources support consumer education, transaction coordination, client communication, and authorized marketing.
Access is not conditioned on referring loans or other business to SCL, meeting referral targets, or using SCL for a transaction. No agreement, expectation, or requirement to refer mortgage business exists. Consumers and professionals remain free to choose their lender and other service providers.
SCL may require referral partners to enter into agreements governing the use of data and Platform access. Information submitted through a partner or co-branded page may be shared with participants identified in its collection notice for the disclosed purposes. Each participant’s marketing communications remain subject to the applicable sender, channel, and purpose permissions. A shared page or referral does not by itself create marketing consent.
All users are prohibited from using data outside their authorized role and permitted business purposes. Loan officers, authorized team members, company administrators, and support personnel may access information necessary for their responsibilities according to the applicable permissions. Account creation, roster import, contact tagging, delegation, or reassignment does not itself establish consumer consent or permission to disclose sensitive information. Authorized exports and sharing remain subject to platform controls, applicable agreements, and law.
If you use SCL tools or platforms (including AI tools, image studios, CRM systems, or marketing tools), you may create or upload content such as images, text, marketing materials, or client-related data ("User Content").
SCL may access, review, and process User Content for legitimate business purposes, including:
User Content may be processed by automated systems, including AI tools, for permitted platform functionality and service purposes described in this Policy. Authorized property content, listing photographs, descriptions, logos, or other materials may also be supplied through a permitted import. Collection and processing remain subject to the content permissions and limited licenses in our Terms and AI & Platform Use Acknowledgment, third-party rights, and source restrictions.
Identifying a property, submitting a URL, or accepting this Policy does not establish ownership or permission to retrieve or reuse third-party content.
Access to User Content is limited to authorized personnel and is subject to internal access controls and security measures.
We do not use User Content for independent marketing purposes outside of the services provided to you.
We may send marketing and informational email communications. You may unsubscribe at any time.
We may send SMS messages for both transactional and marketing purposes where permitted. Replying STOP opts you out of all SCL SMS communications, including transactional SMS. A message’s transactional or loan-related purpose does not override that SMS opt-out. Where permitted or required, loan communications may continue through an appropriate non-SMS channel.
Mobile information collected for our SMS program, including opt-in data and consent records, is not sold or shared with affiliates or other third parties for their own marketing or promotional campaigns. Necessary information may be processed by providers delivering messages or supporting authorized operations, subject to restrictions on independent use, or disclosed where required by law. These SMS-specific restrictions govern mobile opt-in data even where this Policy describes broader sharing.
Before sending marketing SMS messages or contacting you via an automatic telephone dialing system (autodialer), prerecorded voice, artificially generated voice, or similar technologies, we will obtain your prior express written consent as required by applicable law.
If we receive your contact information from a third-party source, we verify the permissions required for the particular channel, method, sender, and purpose before outreach. Where prior express written consent is required, we verify valid consent authorizing contact by Secure Choice Lending or obtain it directly.
AI assistance alone does not establish consent or determine the legal requirements. Importing a contact, adding a CRM tag, receiving a referral, or having a prior relationship does not by itself establish consent required for a particular marketing channel.
We maintain applicable consent and revocation records, including the contact information authorized, language presented, date and manner of consent, and subsequent changes or revocation.
Consent to marketing communications is not required to obtain a loan or any other service from SCL.
We may use automated systems, including AI, to deliver communications via email, SMS, or phone where permitted by law and where appropriate consent has been obtained.
We may offer promotions or giveaways.
Depending on applicable law and the information involved, you may have the right to:
To exercise these rights, contact us at:
Email: info@securechoicelending.comWe may verify your identity when necessary and permitted for the particular request. We do not require identity verification for an opt-out or limitation request where applicable law prohibits that requirement.
For personal information covered by the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA, California residents have the following rights, subject to applicable exceptions:
To exercise your rights, use the contact information provided in this Policy. Where applicable law requires, we provide a privacy-choice mechanism for sale/sharing and process opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, as required by that law.
The availability of particular statutory choices and exceptions depends on the information and processing involved. Qualifying financial information may be subject to financial privacy laws and separate notices; those exemptions do not exempt every SCL activity or category of information from the CCPA. Marketing opt-outs and advertising-related privacy choices are separate.
We retain personal information based on the type of data and applicable legal requirements:
We may retain certain information longer where required for legal, regulatory, or compliance purposes, including an applicable legal hold. Uploaded documents, extracted information, AI inputs and outputs, and technical logs follow the retention rules applicable to the feature, purpose, provider arrangement, and legal requirements. Property content and marketing materials remain subject to applicable content licenses and restrictions.
When information is no longer needed and no applicable retention basis remains, we dispose of it according to applicable requirements and our retention procedures.
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including:
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and using authorized access methods. Promptly report suspected unauthorized access to SCL. These user responsibilities do not replace SCL’s own applicable privacy, security, and service-provider obligations.
Information about independent security assessments applicable to the Platform, including assessments under the App Defense Alliance Cloud Application Security Assessment (CASA) framework, is available by contacting SCL using the contact information in this Policy. An assessment applies only to the application, systems, and scope identified in its documentation. Contact SCL for an assessment’s scope and current status. An assessment does not guarantee that a system is free of vulnerabilities.
Our use and transfer of information received through Google APIs adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy and, where applicable, the Google Workspace User Data and Developer Policy, including their Limited Use requirements.
Information received through Google Workspace APIs, including information derived from it, is used only for authorized user-facing features and other uses permitted by the applicable Google policies. We do not use or transfer that information for advertising, sale to data brokers, creditworthiness or lending purposes, or training or improving general-purpose AI or machine- learning models.
Human access is limited to circumstances permitted by those policies. You may revoke a connected account’s permissions through the provider or available platform controls. Revocation stops future access but does not by itself delete previously received information; retention and deletion remain subject to applicable law and the Google policies.
These restrictions govern Google-derived information even where another provision of this Policy describes a broader use.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites.
We review this Policy periodically and update it when our information practices or applicable requirements change, including at least annually where required by law. Changes identify the revised effective date and Policy version.
Where required by law, we provide additional notice of material changes or obtain required authorization before applying a new use or disclosure to previously collected information. An update or product name change does not expand an existing content license, workflow authorization, or communication consent.
We collect identifiers and contact information; financial, lending, and property information; commercial and professional information; website, CRM, communication, and workflow activity; marketing preferences and consent records; and sensitive information contained in authorized applications or documents.
Depending on the feature, we also process uploaded documents, extracted information, AI instructions and outputs, and related platform records. Sources include you, authorized users or referral partners, credit and verification services, licensed data providers, permitted public sources, advertising platforms, and platform activity.
We use these categories for the applicable purposes described in this Policy, including mortgage services, document and loan-support analysis, permitted communications and marketing, authorized property materials, CRM operation, security, support, and compliance.
This Policy also describes recipient categories and permitted disclosures, retention periods or criteria, and applicable privacy rights, choices, and methods for exercising them. Certain advertising-related disclosures may qualify as sale or sharing under applicable law even without monetary compensation. This summary does not replace a feature-specific notice, financial privacy notice, or separate consent where required.
By checking this box, I expressly consent to receive communications from Secure Choice Lending, including:
I understand that:
This marketing consent is separate from acceptance of the Terms, Privacy Policy, and AI & Platform Use Acknowledgment. I consent to the selected communications at the email address or telephone number I provide. Replying STOP opts me out of all SCL SMS communications, including transactional SMS; clicking unsubscribe stops the applicable marketing email. I may also withdraw consent by contacting SCL using the contact information provided in this Policy.
Secure Choice Lending uses AI and automated systems to support permitted communications, document classification and extraction, income and asset analysis, credit and property analysis, loan scenarios, document-quality checks, and related processes.
Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated and must be used according to the applicable review requirements. Certain approved communication workflows may operate without review of each individual message; qualified SCL personnel remain responsible for final SCL lending decisions.
This Policy explains the applicable AI processing, human oversight, information disclosure, and data retention framework. This disclosure does not replace required lending notices, marketing consent, content permissions, or the AI & Platform Use Acknowledgment.
Participation in promotions may involve collection of personal information. Marketing consent is optional. Full terms are provided in the official rules.
Residents of certain states may have additional rights under applicable state privacy laws, including rights to access or obtain a copy of information, correct or delete information, opt out of certain sales, targeted advertising, or profiling where the law applies, and appeal a denied privacy request where required.
The applicable rights, exceptions, and procedures depend on the state, information, and processing involved. Contact info@securechoicelending.com or 951-733-8925 to exercise applicable rights or request information about appeal procedures.
Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted, subject to applicable authorization procedures. We respond within applicable legal deadlines and explain any permitted limitation or extension. Financial privacy notices and any required feature-specific disclosures supplement this Policy.
